Qurbani ki Ta’areef :

ALLAH ke liye ṡawaab ki Niyyat se Khaas jaanwar ko makhsoos ayyaam me zibah karna ‘Qurbani’ hai.

Quran :

فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ
Pas apne Rab ke liye Namaaz padho aur Qurbaani diya karo.
[108 Surah al-Kausar, Aayat 2]

Hazrat Jundab radi-Allāhu ta’ala anhu se riwaayat hai ki :
Huzoor Rasool-Allāh sallallāhu alaihi wa sallam ne Namaaz padhane ke baad Khutba diya, Phir Qurbaani ki aur farmaaya,‘Jis ne (Eid Ki) Namaaz se pehle Qurbani kar di ho use badle me dusre jaanwar ki Qurbaani karni chaahiye Aur jis ne Namaaz se pehle Qurbaani na ki ho wo ALLĀH ke naam se Qurbaani kare.’

Jis Par Qurbani wajib Thi Usne Nahi Kiya Yahan Tak Ki Dusri Eid Aagayi, Ab is Dusri Eid Me Pehli Qurbani Nahi Kar Sakta, Balki Pichle Saal Ke Badle Janwar Ya Uske Barabar Qimat Sadqa Kre.

Mas'ala:
Ba’az log pure ghar ki taraf say sirf ek bakra Qurban karte hain halan-kay ba’az oqaat ghar ke ka’ie afraad sahib-e-nisab hote hain aur is bina per in saron per Qurbani wajib hoti he, in sab ki taraf say alag alag Qurbani ki jaye. ek bakra jo sab ki taraf say kiya gaya kisi ka bhi wajib ada na huwa ke bakre mein aik say ziyadah hisse nahin ho sakte kisi ek tay-shuda fard hi ki taraf say bakra Qurban ho sakta hay.

Mas'ala:
Gaye (Cow/bhens)  aur ounth(Camel)  mein say Qurbaniyan  ho sakti hain.

Mas'ala:
Na-baligh ki taraf say agar-chay wajib nahin  magar ker dena behtar hay (aur ijazat bhi zaruri nahin). Baligh olaad ya zoja ki taraf say Qurbani karna chahay to un say ijazat talab karay agar in say ijazat liye baghair kardi to in ki taraf say wajib ada nahin ho ga. (‘Alamgeeri, jild 5, safha 293, Bahar-e-Shari’at, jild 3, safha 428) Ijazat do tarah say hoti hay:
   i.  Sarahtan mas’alan in mein say koi wazih tor per kah day kay meri taraf say Qurbani kardo.
   ii. Dalalatan (Understood) masalan ye apni zoja ya olaad ki taraf say Qurbani karta hay aur unhen is ka ’elm hay aur woh razi hain.
